The Jade-Purifying Bottle Lets Me Roam the Mortal World

An unemployed young man finds a message bottle by the sea. There’s no letter inside, just a tiny, chatty ball of light. It says it’s Guanyin’s Jade-Purifying Bottle, but it’s missing a willow branch. Together, the man and the bottle travel across the country looking for one, taking trips, curing illnesses, and making a little money along the way.

This is all made up. Please don’t take it as referring to anyone in particular.
