Great Tang: My Court Is Full of Love-Struck Fools, So I Had Them All Executed

Li Zhi'an is reborn in the Tang dynasty, intending to while away his days with concubines and music.

But for some reason, this world is full of melodramatic heroines who “run off while pregnant” or suffer “tragic, passionate love,” along with devoted male leads who fawn over them.

One day, one of them wants a kidney removed; the next, another wants to leap off a cliff. The nation’s tax revenue is all spent buying toys for the heroines to play at setting beacon fires and fooling the feudal lords.

The peerlessly beautiful female marshals of the Tang can’t stand it anymore. They throw themselves at Li Zhi'an, hoping to help him rise to power and purge the court of corrupt officials.

Li Zhi'an: “Fine. Since you’ve come to me, I’ll graciously accept.”

As for those “leading men and women” who make a scene in front of me?

“Men! Tie up these kidney cutters and cliff jumpers and throw them all into the river!”

Surrounded by beauties in the imperial harem and cutting down drama queens with a flick of his wrist, this is the true joy of life.
