I Had Just Transmigrated into a Book When the Yandere Demon Venerable Imprisoned Me

Pei Du transmigrates into a book and finds himself trapped from the start at the bottom of the lightless Demon-Suppressing Pagoda.

His captor is Yan Shu, the villainous Empress who stands at the very peak of the book's power rankings, yet is destined to be ground to dust.

To gain absolute control over Pei Du, Yan Shu uses a forbidden art, trying to brainwash him into becoming a docile puppet who obeys her completely.

But Pei Du has a constitution impervious to all techniques, so the brainwashing has no effect!

To save his life, he immediately puts on an award-winning performance, pretending to be completely mindless. By day, he's a docile sword attendant who lets her do as she pleases; by night, he secretly plots his escape.

Then he accidentally binds himself to Yan Shu's “private jade slip.”

This aloof demoness, ruthless and decisive in public, reveals her lovesick, possessive nature in the jade slip:

[He kissed my spell mark today. He's so obedient.]

[While he was unconscious, I secretly held him all night. It's not like he knows.]

[Anyone who dares to come between us, I'll punch a hole in the sky!]

Watching the Empress's obsession and devotion grow increasingly unhealthy in the jade slip, Pei Du, who had only wanted to run away, falls silent.

Later, the righteous alliance lays siege to the city, vowing to kill the Empress.

Pei Du, his bags already packed, sighs, draws his sword, and stands before a million cultivators.

“Sorry, but the woman you call a heinous demon is the one I'm going to spoil for the rest of my life!”
