A big brother came to live in the compound, and Lin Mo was always trying to get his attention. She loved teasing him and playing with him, and would wait for him after school so they could walk home together. The other kids in the compound all said Lin Mo cared more about good looks than friendship.
That big brother is now famous, an actor everyone knows. Lin Mo seems not to recognize him anymore.
Later, the compound was relocated, and they were separated.
Lin Mo went abroad to study, beginning a four-year life as an international student.
Her youthful crush was buried deep in her heart when the compound was relocated. No one knew how she felt.

From the beginning of his career, Ji Siyan has always worn a necklace with a jasmine flower design. At a fan meeting, someone asked, “Brother Yan, I’m not the only one who’s curious. All the Yanxing fans want to know: does the necklace you always wear have a special meaning?”
Holding the microphone onstage, the man gave a low laugh. After a moment, he said, “It symbolizes something beautiful. I treasure it very much.”
The necklace was Lin Mo’s gift to Ji Siyan when he advanced to the next grade. Lin Mo was in seventh grade and Ji Siyan in tenth. He had asked her for it, and she had huffed, muttering, “Why do you need a gift just because you’re moving up a grade?” Then she took off the necklace she was wearing and gave it to him. “Here, this is all I have. It’s my most, most, most precious gift. If you lose it, I’ll never speak to you again!”
And so, from the very beginning until now, the necklace has always rested around his neck.
