Li Huaijin, codenamed wax torch, as a member of our party, joined the Kuomintang in 1926 as a supporter of our party.

In 1937, the Anti-Japanese War broke out in an all-round way. In order to save the nation from peril, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party cooperated again.
Comrades Xiao An and Yang Qiuyue, members of our party, jointly joined the Kuomintang again as "hibernators" to prepare for the possible rupture of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party in the future.
In 1946, the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party broke out again.
