It all began when Bai Muyun was captivated by Xue Lingtian's looks.

But when Bai Muyun accepted his fate, stopped trying to win Xue Lingtian over, and prepared to go down the mountain to reclaim his carefree life and hang out with demon-kind ruffians, Xue Lingtian instead closed in on him step by step.

Something was wrong with his master. Alarm bells rang in Bai Muyun's head. His reason told him to run as fast as he could, but Xue Lingtian held him fast.

He implanted a life-and-death pact in both their hearts. From then on, their lives were bound together, and they would never be apart again.
This story is a spin-off centered on one character's past from another work, featuring some of its supporting characters. It is also an authorial practice run at writing a master-disciple romance. Updates depend on whether the other work gets updated first; this one updates at a relaxed pace.
