The Southern Archives: Moonlight on a Thorny Road

[A Southern Archives fanfic + fixed main pairing: Lou Xia + striving to keep characters in character + original female lead + some original plotlines + some headcanons]

A transfer order sends Zhang Hailou and Zhang Haixia to Balai for thirty years.

Half a year later, their senior sister Zhang Jingyu follows them to Nanyang.

Life in Nanyang is peaceful and uneventful, until the Panhuahai Reef case suddenly comes to light.

“Who exactly are you?”

“Misery is not fate; disaster is brought about by people. Your entire life has been part of a scheme.”

“Family interests are nothing more than whatever those in power say they are.”

“She said she would go to hell, but that's all right. You and I are going there too. Isn't it lovely that our family can reunite in the underworld?”

Everyone thinks she is gentle and well-behaved, asking only for a peaceful life by her junior's side.

But as layer after layer of lies is exposed, countless secrets lie hidden beneath the waters of Nanyang.
