And throughout the whole story, the author is really just writing a running account, without characters. Psychological description, so I have no idea about the motivation behind the actions of these characters and the entanglements of interests.
And Lin Ruhai is really weak. The author completely weakened his role and his IQ. After all, he is the Salt Patrol Censor, and his ability to deal with things must be a little more thorough than that of Daiyu, a little girl, but I don't see what role he has as an adult at all. Maybe the only purpose is to prove that there are still people in Daiyu's natal family.
