My Whole Team Died in the Line of Duty, So I Took Their Ghosts to Hunt Killers Across Six Provinces

On New Year's Eve in 1998, armed robbers stormed the treasury of the Nanshan Mine in Hegang.

All seven veteran officers on the task force were wiped out. The scene was horrific, and all that remained was a bloodstained copy of the Investigation Notebook.

Lin Xiaowu, the task force's only surviving trainee officer, bound himself to the Ghost Detective System amid a mountain of corpses.

"Xiaowu, the wound edges are turned outward. The killer is left-handed." Old Li, the forensic examiner's ghost, stood beside a headless corpse, his voice cold.

"Xiaowu, close your eyes and let me take over your body. I'll teach you to put a bullet through that bastard's head!" Brother Zhao, the sharpshooter's heroic spirit, possessed him and roared.

"Xiaowu, the killer ran southwest. Go after him!" Brother Wang, the trace evidence expert's ghost, pointed to muddy footprints.

And so began a bloody manhunt that spanned six provinces and lasted seven years.

The gang of psychopathic bandits, with dozens of lives on their hands, thought they'd long since slipped through the net.

But they didn't know that in the darkness behind them, an old-fashioned Jeep would never stop tailing them.

At the wheel was a young police officer with bloodshot eyes, and his car was packed with the vengeful spirits of the dead!

"If the living can't catch you, then I'll bring the dead to do it!"
