Beast Taming: An S-Rank Calamity? Take This Seven-Wolf Strike!

My name is Su Ye, and I run a shelter in a world of beast tamers. They say I'm so useless I can't even form a contract with a slime.

Then one day, an S-rank disaster-class Hellhound broke through the defenses and swallowed a tycoon's ancient war dragon in one bite. The city's air-raid sirens blared, and everyone closed their eyes to await death.

I sighed, pulled the Seven Wolves belt from my waist, and headed out into the street. As the entire city watched in terror, I smacked the Hellhound on the butt with my belt. “Barking in the middle of the night and disturbing the neighbors! Is that what I taught you?”

The three-headed hound whimpered, then expertly flopped onto the ground and rolled over to show its belly. The whole city fell silent.

Later, a tycoon offered ten billion to buy my watchdog, and the military begged me to come out of retirement and suppress the abyss. I pointed to the dragon behind me, roasting sweet potatoes with its world-ending black flames. “Don't bother me. I've got to earn cat food money for this pack of brats.”
