The cherry blossoms in Tatekai are in bloom. Shuang Yexun stood at the school gate, watching the flying petals falling on his shoulders, and the silver pupils reflected the tiny light. The March wind was still chilly, and he subconsciously tightened the strap of his tennis bag, his fingertips turning slightly white.
"Looking for——!" A figure rushed out of the crowd, almost knocking him down. "Why are you in a daze again? I called you three times!"
Kirihara Akaya grabbed his wrist and ran away, muttering "I'm going to be late, I'm going to be late." Shuang Yexun was dragged by him and staggered a few steps. He lowered his head and saw the young man's well-joined fingers tightly clasping his wrist, and the warm touch came through his skin. He suddenly remembered that when he was three years old, it was these same hands that shook him out of his nightmare under the cherry blossom tree.
"Why are you crying?" Little Kirihara Akaya squatted in front of him and tilted his head to look at him, "Are you having a nightmare? My mother said that nightmares are the opposite."
At that time, Shuang Yexun had just arrived in this world, and the memories of his previous life were still as clear as a knife--the darkness of Infinite City, the screams of ghosts, and the cold touch of his own chest being penetrated. He shivered under the roots of the cherry blossom tree, his silver eyes widened, but he couldn't say anything.
Then Kirihara Akaya put her candy into his hand. "Here you go," the little boy grinned, looking a bit funny with one of his missing front teeth. "You won't be afraid if you eat something sweet."
Since then, the sun has never left his world.

Big cheers for the author!
This is the first time I have seen the synthesis of Netou and Demon Slayer. The plot of the novel is smooth and interesting.
