[A plagiarist's journey + film, TV, variety shows, songs, and novels + childhood sweetheart heroine + a double comeback]
When second-tier actor Lin Chen gets the Dream-Building Entertainment System, the stage is set for him to smash through prejudice!
His first show of talent is a performance of "Hollow" on a variety show. The viewers waiting for him to make a fool of himself fall silent.
At a competition, his delicate vocals in a duet of "Because of Love" strike a chord with countless people and their youthful regrets.
He performs G.E.M.'s "Light Years Away," capturing a love that endures even in the darkest moments.
Then he offers the sweet song "Love You," its melody reserved for his childhood sweetheart, Huang Xiaoyun.
And he doesn't stop at conquering the music scene. He puts pen to paper and produces the complete script for "The Knockout," shaking up the film and television industry.
At first, the whole internet mocks him for thinking he can write songs just because he's an actor.
Later, countless music and movie fans eagerly await every hit song and masterpiece he puts out.
Amid a constant chorus of doubts, Lin Chen proves it all through his work:
In front of the spotlights and cameras, every prejudice will eventually be crushed!
Where is the bond between my childhood sweethearts that I want?
