Sui-Tang: Don't Trust the TV Dramas, I'll Tell You What Really Happened

Li Yuanba, the greatest warrior under heaven? He doesn't exist in the official histories.

Luo Cheng, the icy-faced warrior with a silver spear? Completely made up.

Qin Qiong, a hero of the Sui and Tang dynasties? Dead last among those honored in the Lingyan Pavilion.

Half of the Romance of the Sui and Tang Dynasties you grew up reading is fiction.

I'm a storyteller. I don't tell romanticized tales. I tell the real stories found in official and unofficial histories.

In every chapter, I dig up one hero's dirt, using the most irreverent approach to tell the most serious history.

Don't believe me? Come take a look.
