The story is set in the year 2030 and follows a college student named A Cong. He has always thought of himself as just another ordinary loser of a student, good for nothing except solving physics and math problems. When he first arrives on campus, he joins forces with three other students to investigate a strange incident from a military exercise three years earlier: a fighter jet disappeared for a whole year. A Cong, a genius who scored full marks in physics on the college entrance exam, runs simulations using every available set of data, and sure enough, he is transported forty years into the future.
