I Work as a Contract Security Guard in the Underworld

Li Wuyou is a hopeless doormat saddled with a huge online-loan debt. To pay it off, he takes a contract job as a security guard. During a night shift, a female ghost comes to claim his life, and through a twist of fate, he activates the Yin-Yang Ledger System. With the help of the System and the Profound Yin Codex his grandfather left behind, he works to pay off his debt while hunting ghosts and leveling up. When the Underworld launches an “outsourcing tender,” he wins the contract and becomes an outsourced security guard for the Underworld. With the Security Guard Handbook in his left hand and the Labor Law in his right, he deals with every unruly ghost: disturbing the peace with noise? Fine them! Illegally overstaying? Send them back! A hundred ghosts roaming at night? Every last one of you, go watch a show at the pear garden! Looking at the Soul-Reaping Rope newly issued at his waist, Li Wuyou sighs. “I’m just a temp. Can you stop making me handle the Underworld’s KPIs?”
