I Never Meant to Unite the World: Year Thirty-Five of Hongwu

A transmigration gate: Build up in the early stages, unify the world under Hongwu, then open portals to other eras later on. Make up for the regrets of history.

Chen Xuan, a modern man, was twenty-four when he accidentally fell off a cliff on Purple Mountain in Nanjing and transmigrated to the Ming Dynasty. He appeared out of thin air at Fengtian Gate in the Imperial Palace of Yingtian in June of the eleventh year of Hongwu. Just like that, he earned himself a one-way ticket to the imperial prison.

Chen Xuan thought of a plan. “Go report to His Majesty at once! I have something concerning the fate of the Ming Dynasty that I must tell him in person. It’s of the utmost importance. If it gets delayed, can you take responsibility?”

Chen Xuan successfully met Zhu Yuanzhang and told him the history of the Ming Dynasty. Zhu Yuanzhang was so furious he spat blood.

Afterward, Chen Xuan discovered that a transmigration System app had appeared on his phone.

He took Old Zhu back to the modern era and discovered that they could transmigrate one more time.

He could only help Old Zhu buy all sorts of things that could change the Ming Dynasty, then let Old Zhu return on his own.

At the very last moment before the portal between eras closed,

Chen Xuan urged him, “Hurry up and go in, Old Zhu! There’s no time!” Zhu Yuanzhang grabbed the phone charger and power bank from Chen Xuan’s table, then kicked Chen Xuan straight into the glowing portal. Chen Xuan yelled, “Holy crap!” Then Zhu Yuanzhang leaped in after him at the very last second.

Chen Xuan was stunned. He plopped down on the ground and muttered, “Ten years. Ten years! I have to wait ten years before I can transmigrate back. Old Zhu, what did I ever do to you? Ten years!”

A few years later, Chen Xuan took out his phone and turned it on again. He opened the app and took a look. Holy crap, the System had been upgraded three years ago...

See how Chen Xuan helps Zhu Yuanzhang make up for the regrets of history!
