Li Chiyuan is a descendant of the Jiuli tribe and the War God Chiyou.
By chance, he meets the Great God Houtu in a dream. She tosses him into the world of Slay the Gods and grants him the Six Paths of Reincarnation.
Li Chiyuan: "What do you mean, the animal I'm riding is a national treasure? No way. That's the Iron-Eating Beast my ancestor gave me."
"What, you want to know why I'm stronger than Xia Simeng? All I can say is that even war gods have different levels of strength."
"Fighting Azathoth? Easy. If I can't beat him, I can call for backup. Lin Qiye can acknowledge the Goddess of Night, Nyx, as his mother, so why can't I call the Great God Houtu Mom?"
"I, Li Chiyuan, can slaughter them all as long as I have one mom to help me ascend to a higher dimension."
"Just kidding. I can slaughter them all even after ascending."
