Lost in the Nights of the Capital, President Lu Says One Thing and Means Another

On her first day as an intern, Shen Nian is publicly criticized by her direct superior, Lu Yanzhi, and is so frightened she wishes she could curl up into a ball.

She thinks she'll fail her internship just like everyone before her.

But later, she discovers that although the cold-faced Mr. Lu complains about her, he protects her at drinking parties, takes her home on rainy days, and is happy when she gets a permanent position.

"Mr. Lu, didn't you say all interns should be treated equally?"

Lu Yanzhi answers expressionlessly, "Yes, equally, except you."

Shen Nian: "...???"

Everyone at the company says Mr. Lu is so sharp-tongued he'll die alone, until they see him pinning someone against a desk, looking utterly pitiful.

"Sweetheart, when are you going to make it official?"

A cold-faced, tsundere boss x a clear-eyed little ray of sunshine.
