Scum? Call Me the Great Song’s Standard-Bearer

You used to call me the Great Gentleman and say I was scum. I didn’t disagree.

But now I’ve been given another life, with no moral restraints and no punishment under the law, and I’m slaughtering my way across the land. What should you call me now?

Rescue Pan Jinlian, Li Ping’er, Pang Chunmei, Hu Sanniang, and Qiongying from lives of misery;

Stand up to Wu Song, hunt down Song Jiang, and storm Liangshan;

Fight the Liao in the north and crush Fang La in the south;

Punch Jin prince Wanyan Zongwang and kick the Japanese overseas;

So tell me, what should you call me?

Louder!

That’s right! I’m Ximen Qing, one of the Great Song’s Ten Outstanding Young People, women’s best friend, the man who saves the Great Song from collapse and turns the tide when all seems lost!

Call me the standard-bearer of the Great Song!
