[Siheyuan] [System] [Period] [Black-bellied wish-fulfillment story] [No holier-than-thou protagonist]
In 1964, twelve-year-old Lin Ye transmigrates into a Siheyuan with the “Lucky Mystery Box System.”
In this den of courtyard beasts, all he has to do is make someone lose their cool, and he can draw a mystery box and get rich!
Banggeng greedily eats a candy laced with medicine and gets captured by human traffickers, who take him off to dig coal. Jia Zhangshi throws a tantrum and uses moral blackmail to demand that Lin Ye lead the rescue.
Looking at the loathsome beasts before him, Lin Ye wears the most innocent, guileless smile a twelve-year-old boy can manage. “Sure thing, Grandma Jia. I'll definitely help you find Banggeng!”
And so begins a “hell-level rescue mission” that leaves the Jia family bankrupt and Silly Zhu questioning his life.
Jia Zhangshi looks at her sweet grandson, kidnapped and sent to a black coal mine, then at Lin Ye, eating and drinking well with an innocent look on his face. She is so furious that she spits up blood!
The beasts can't understand how a sweet, obedient-looking twelve-year-old boy could ruin their families and leave them destitute.
Lin Ye blinks. “I'm just a poor, fatherless twelve-year-old. What bad intentions could I possibly have?”
Unbelievable, the Siheyuan's Universal Letter of Understanding appears in Chapter 6 [Fear] Moreover, the protagonist, a child, went to Shanxi coal mines with animals to look for stick stalks. It's really outrageous.
Such a good book should be read by everyone 😏😏😏
Not bad. I give you a five-star review.
