[Urban + System + Feel-Good Power Fantasy + Livestreaming + Minecraft + Game Design + Building a Career]

Just as Su Chen was about to graduate, the Minecraft he had always played added a new feature.

And that feature...

was the biggest gaming platform on Blue Star.

Every map he uploaded was essentially a brand-new game.

Look!

What are the odds?

MC just happened to be a completely open, all-purpose game with total freedom.

And as luck would have it, he had majored in game design at college, with his graduation project just around the corner.

So while everyone else was stressing over graduation, Su Chen was already adding the appropriate horror mods to MC and building a map.

When it came time to present their graduation projects,

while everyone else uploaded simple little games for their presentations, Su Chen submitted his own hybrid version of The Backrooms, nearly scaring one of the instructors into having a heart attack.

Someone happened to capture the scene and post it online.

Soon, netizens flocked to try the game...

Its incredible VR experience and heart-pounding chases set off a sensation across the internet.

The name of designer Su Chen soon exploded in popularity.

Seizing the momentum, Su Chen released another blockbuster game:

Left 4 Dead

As one game after another appeared out of nowhere, Su Chen became a game designer known to everyone.

By pure chance,

some players glitched through the game and caught a glimpse of other maps built inside MC.

That was when netizens made a surprising discovery...

Every game they played

seemed to come from the same shared universe?
