A God, an Omega Baby

[School Days + Long-Laid Plans + Sweet-and-Sour Push and Pull + Rivals Who Fall for Each Other]

As the saying goes, if you don't work hard, it looks like everything comes easily.

Mu Ye, the school's infamous “troublemaker” Omega, is determined to be the most Alpha-like Omega around. He's fierce, never short of words, and a prodigy in math and science. “Geniuses never need to work hard,” he says.

Top Alpha Jian Yan is a cool, aloof academic ace who keeps everyone at arm's length. He says little and gets top marks, with a perfect image and backstory, albeit a rather broken one. A true study machine, he takes first place by a mile on every exam.

During a classroom confrontation, Mu Ye gets carried away and makes a bold declaration: “If I can't beat you on the next exam, I'll take your surname!”

Jian Yan smiles. “I'll be waiting. And I don't mind if you take my surname.”

Mu Ye: What? So much for the aloof academic ace. He's clearly a scheming, vindictive, black-hearted dog!

**

The first time Mu Ye feels unwell, he drags Jian Yan off to get temporarily marked, insisting that refusing would be unsportsmanlike.

The first time Mu Ye gets dazed by someone's pheromones, he drags Jian Yan home with him, saying he likes him just the way he is: so pure and innocent...

The school's spectators split into two camps:

Some say the Alpha ace has fallen, and Mu Ye must take full responsibility. Others say the Alpha ace had been plotting this all along, and Ye Bao is innocent.

Truthfully, there's no such thing as two people simply heading toward each other in this world. It's more a matter of chasing and being chased, fighting and vying for one another.

1. A secretly cocky, Alpha-like Omega vs. a cold, arrogant, black-hearted Alpha with a broken side.

2. Hair color is related to pheromone type. For the same pheromone type, the lighter the hair, the higher the rank.

3. If the Earth is round, why shouldn't heading in opposite directions count as meeting halfway?
