Great Qin: I Only Want to Farm, but the Sky Screen Reveals the Empress

The sky screen appears, shocking the entire Qin Empire! The future empress’s identity is exposed for all to see!

Having transmigrated as Ying Jining, the unfavored seventh princess, she plans to grow crops and enjoy her retirement with the “Interstellar Agriculture System.” But then the sky screen suddenly starts showing "The Revolutionary History of the Great Qin Empress", hailing her improved sweet potatoes as an “elixir of immortality” and her curved plow as a “national treasure.”

On screen, she wears imperial robes and rules the world. In reality, the nine-year-old is squatting in the dirt, gnawing on a roasted sweet potato, while her father, the First Emperor, and the entire court stare feverishly at the potato spade in her hand.

The First Emperor issues an order on the spot: “May the Empress bestow the medicine upon me? I am willing to abdicate and yield the throne to you!” Ying Jining panics. “Dad, they’re just roasted sweet potatoes! Don’t read so much into it!”
