The year is 2300. Gods and Buddhas have withdrawn, and strange entities are everywhere.
I am Mu Xie, a divine Xiejü beast who has lived for over a thousand years. Dealing with rule-based horrors is my duty. Protecting humanity isn't. I never cared what happened to them.
But my three closest friends died. Trapped by the obsession of “waiting for Mu Xie to come home,” they waited for far too long, until their consciousness faded and they forgot who they were. The strange entities killed them, but also sent their souls into reincarnation. When reborn, they'll lose their memories and their forms, and may no longer even be divine beasts.
I have to find them.
So I joined the Public Association as a combat instructor for newcomers. On the surface, I'm teaching the Chosen how to survive in dungeons. In truth, I'm searching every newcomer for the people who no longer remember me.
They don't remember me anymore. But that's all right. I remember them.
This is a suspense novel about rule-based horrors, featuring a variety of dungeon scenarios, including rule-based horrors, ghostly terror, and apocalypse survival. It has a standalone setting, so you don't need to read the previous works.
It's pretty good. The world view and organizational associations are quite reasonable, and there is a complete organizational structure. However, when I was writing the copy, I felt that there were no supporting characters. The author will update this book for a long time, and there are many mysteries that have not yet been solved. I am looking forward to the story behind it.
