The spirit banners fly above the altar, while warriors from every corner gather in its hall. I see the affairs of yin and yang across the Three Realms, and hear the ghosts of the Nine Hells trembling.
My name is Gu Ling. Frail and sickly since childhood, I was born with a spirit-sensitive constitution and a heavy fate. I wanted to establish my own altar, but a vengeful spirit blocked my way. My grandfather sacrificed himself to save me, ensuring my safety for many years.
At sixteen, I took up the incense and established my altar, beginning my life as a spirit medium. Mother-and-child demons, journeys to the underworld, ghost marriages, relocating yin dwellings, settling karmic debts, extending life spans...
With a single command, I can drive evil spirits away; with three sticks of incense, I can protect good fortune and help it flourish. Let no monsters come causing trouble: I command heaven and earth and keep the four corners in order!
Come see how I journey to the underworld to catch ghosts, predict good fortune, and avoid calamity.
