[Carefree troublemaker, destructive, unhinged bottom X gentle, reserved, sinister top]
The people who come here are driven by desire. They all share the same title: game players.
Stake your life and wager your desires as your reward. Players, begin the game.
While other players are being chased by terrifying NPCs, running for their lives and sobbing in despair, one person remains remarkably calm.
He is reckless and unruly, talks nonsense, and acts like he couldn’t care less about the dungeon, simply because he has already been through it once.
Wang Quan cleared all seven dungeons. He thought that once he obtained the crucial item from the seventh dungeon, his deepest desire would finally be satisfied. But instead, he found himself back in the first dungeon.
“You’re messing with me, aren’t you? You said once I cleared the game...”
The game NPCs trembled with fear. They couldn’t wait to get this walking disaster out of there. The dungeon Wang Quan entered was practically wrecked every time, and the NPCs had all been fooled by his ridiculous nonsense.
They couldn’t beat him or out-argue him. They just wanted to send him packing as soon as possible, so why would they ever insist on keeping him there?
To avoid wasting the effort of restoring and upgrading the dungeon again, the NPCs brought out the mastermind they had to fight, begging it to protect them and asking Wang Quan to go easy.
Wang Quan looked at the familiar, quiet person in front of him and grinned. “Hello, beautiful. Have we met somewhere before?”
[Players, please do not flirt with NPCs!]
Red letters appeared in midair, and the warning sounded three times.
It was a privilege only Wang Quan could earn.
Wang Quan froze. “You’re an NPC?”
Fu Suyu said nothing.
Wang Quan grabbed him and headed into the castle. “What a quiet one. Let’s clear the dungeon first.”
The game NPCs in the other dungeons were close to tears. Could someone tell them why their mastermind was silently handing that walking disaster a hammer and helping him come up with a plan?
Wang Quan rubbed his chin. “What do you think? Should we just smash it open?”
Fu Suyu handed him something. “Here.”
Wang Quan spotted something pretty. “This is lovely. How come I didn’t see it last time?”
Fu Suyu explained, “The dungeon randomly upgrades itself to target veteran players.”
The place was left in ruins, as if an army had marched through.
Weren’t they supposed to protect them and preserve the dungeon’s integrity?
