Temporary Worker Is on Staff. My Predecessor Found No Such Person.

On a rainy night, there was a sudden power outage in the archives. Temporary worker Han Zheng found a resume in the system that shouldn't exist: the data owner had found this person seven years ago, but the resume was still being updated, and he was even about to enter a higher position. What's even weirder is that every time this person passes through a location, there will be exactly one empty grid in reality. Han Zheng did not say anything, but filled in his name. The next day, after four years of working as a temporary worker, he finally received official status. But he soon discovered: once a name is added, it can never be taken out; as long as it stays where it is, the trouble left by the previous square will come to the door. In order to protect himself and to find out what happened to his father back then, Han Zheng could only keep going up one file after another. It wasn't until he opened his own information that he discovered that the name he was using now might have belonged to another person. Whoever is written on the paper truly exists. But did those whose names were erased really never exist?
