After transmigrating deep into the Hengduan Mountains, Lin Youzheng hadn't even found his footing before plunging headfirst into a miasma. When he woke, he was blind.
An old woodcutter saved him. As he lay dying, he entrusted the village to Lin Youzheng: “Sir, I'm leaving this village in your hands.”
Lin Youzheng took the old man's cloth bag and knelt before his grave, utterly at a loss.
[The Strongest Master System has been activated.]
[Teach and impart knowledge. As your disciples learn and accumulate Dao essence, you will inherit all their cultivation in turn.]
With a black cloth over his eyes, he opened a school beneath a banyan tree.
He taught the Three Character Classic, the Thousand Character Classic, and the Dao De Jing straight from the books.
The children studied diligently, then volunteered to chop wood and wash clothes after class. They were as obedient as a group of little angels.
Until one day, several scientific expedition team members accidentally wandered into the valley.
They saw with their own eyes a black wolf, taller than a person when standing upright, wearing a blue-and-white checkered apron and slicing cabbage into thin strips.
The expedition team collapsed in terror and scrambled out of the valley.
Meanwhile, beneath the banyan tree, Lin Youzheng gently asked:
“Tieniu, Xiaohong, did you understand today's lesson from the Dao De Jing?”
The giant bear and spirit fox answered in unison, “We understood, sir!”
