1937: A Combined-Arms Battalion Staff Officer Rebuilds the Baoshan Battalion

September 1937. Baoshan falls.

After seven days and nights of bloody fighting, every soldier in the Iron-Blooded Baoshan Battalion dies for their country. Six hundred men are buried in Songhu, with only a handful of survivors left to cling to life.

Liu Hanying, an officer from a modern combined-arms battalion, transmigrates into the body of the last surviving company commander of the Baoshan Battalion.

Ruins stretch as far as the eye can see. Corpses litter the ground, morale has collapsed, and the Japanese are about to massacre the city.

Bearing the fallen battalion’s legacy, he abandons a futile last stand and seeks a way to survive, organizing scattered Songhu survivors with modern modular tactics.

He builds defense in depth, launches coordinated ambushes, trains iron-blooded recruits, and restores the Baoshan banner.

Starting with the weakest remnants, he turns the tide with the strongest tactics.

The land still stands, and its heroes are never far away. Starting today, the Baoshan Battalion will rise again and guard the nation’s borders!
