[Primordial world + System + retracing the Journey to the West + lighthearted comedy + wild imagination]
Tang Lin transmigrates into the ninth incarnation of the Golden Cicada in the Primordial World. He was supposed to end up with his skull strung onto a necklace by Sha Wujing, but fortunately, he awakens the Pilgrim System.
Complete missions to earn System rewards.
As long as there's money in his merit account, he can activate the on-demand mercenary feature, and even summon the Tongtian Cult Leader to come down and blast some fish!
So Tang Lin, a pilgrim unrecognized by the Buddhist sect, heads west, crushing everything in his path and growing stronger along the way.
When Tang Lin finally reaches Mount Ling, he sees Duobao Tathagata cowering behind Zhunti and Jieyin. He smiles faintly.
"How about letting me take a seat on the Western Paradise's Buddha throne too?"
