Longtan Repays a Favor

The old farmer Zhao Laoliu rescued Qinglong who fell into the water. His son Shitou was mentally confused. Qinglong promised to enlighten him in three years. Rich man Qian Dafu is greedy for opportunities, and he pretends to be a benefactor but actually plots to force the green dragon to show up to pollute the dragon pool and awaken the snake monster at the bottom of the pool. At the end of the three years, Shi Shi returned from his studies and was given the Pure Spirit Powder to help Qing Long, using his own essence and blood to activate the dragon scales to suppress the snake spirit. Qian Dafu dissipated all his family wealth due to greed. The Zhao family father and son were kind and grateful, and went to Longtan every year to express their gratitude to Qinglong.
