It's just my personal opinion. I hope other readers can read the book first and not let my comment affect the author's achievements.
It is clearly written about a squeamish heroine, but from what I saw, it was all about working, and then being annoyed. The wife of a man whose position is so much lower than that of the heroine, is looking for presence every day. I really can't understand it. I have read so many period novels, and this is the lowest score I have ever given. I can also understand that the author may think that it is really hard for the male protagonist to be a soldier, and the female protagonist must do something. The introduction is a bit inconsistent with the content of the article.
In order to highlight and shape the image of the heroine, it is really unwise to set up a supporting character Zhao Many times it is difficult for the sake of difficulty. It does not mean that the heroine cannot be created by solving difficulties, but that the "difficulty" level of the event and the solution obviously does not match. I will tell you in the most straightforward terms that there is no need for such a difficult solution. Difficulty in doing things exactly reflects the softness of the heroine. If this is what you want to portray, treat it as if I didn't say it.
There is procrastination in resolving matters, and we always hope that people who are greedy for petty gains will realize themselves.
