Embarking on the Long River

Legends arrive in a new era. Civilization faces an unprecedented crisis, and fate reaches a new starting point. Will humanity meekly accept being trampled underfoot by the strange beasts of the mountains and seas, or rise up in defiance, believing that people can triumph over fate?

As the ancient mountains and seas emerge in the real world,

Some say, “Those who are not of our kind can never share our hearts.”

Others say, “Whoever threatens our people, no matter how far away, will be slain!”

Are the legendary divine beasts at odds with humanity, or have ancient legends come true in the real world? Ferocious beasts slaughter mortals, ancient gods look down upon all living things, and the Kunpeng of the Northern Sea plays a game from afar. Humanity can scarcely produce a mighty warrior.

Abolish the well-field system and open up the roads between the fields. My name is Qianmo, a traveler on the long river of time, come from the pre-Qin era to walk among the living.

I transmigrate through time, witnessing the past and present.

I will slay every beast of the mountains and seas, and humanity will know peace.

On the road home, I will tread every last speck of dust beneath my feet.
