The Fallen Phoenix Can't Fly, Yet the Obsessive Evil Dragon Imprisons Me in His Embrace

[Past and Present Lives + Good-for-Nothing’s Rise + Healing, Sweet Romance + Multiple Arcs]

A seductive, possessive evil dragon × a resilient, good-for-nothing phoenix bird

A natural disaster strikes the Phoenix Clan, forcing the entire clan to migrate.

Yun Yi, who has been unable to fly since childhood, is cruelly abandoned by her people. A bolt of heavenly lightning knocks her into the sea, where she nearly drowns, only to be protected by the remains of a thousand-year-old dragon.

The dragon’s remains sense the jade pendant on her chest, gather a soul, and bring back to life the last dragon in the world, Li Cang.

When he wakes, he mistakes her for the person who betrayed his affections a thousand years ago and angrily demands that she atone.

“Devious human, find my dragon scales for me, or I’ll crush you to death.”

So the evil dragon takes her hostage and forces her to travel to the ends of the earth in search of four dragon scales, which will let him become a complete dragon.

The seven protective scales represent the seven emotions: joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, hatred, and desire. The search for them is arduous and dangerous, but Li Cang protects her. Together, Yun Yi and Li Cang experience all kinds of emotions, and she gradually comes to understand her own heart.

But the dragon only wraps himself tighter around her, day and night, in heaven and on earth.

“Y-you... what are you doing?”

“You promised you’d bear me children, a whole nest of dragon babies.”

Yun Yi clung to the bedpost, near tears. When had she ever promised that?!
