The Dog Calamity has arrived. All dogs infected by the "Dog Calamity Virus" begin displaying humanlike behavior. They imitate their owners' movements, mannerisms, and even the way they speak.
When their owners are away, they put on their clothes, enjoy the soft sofa, stand upright, and grin at themselves in the mirror.
When the time is right, they eat their owners. Their bodies begin to grow, and they slowly take on their owners' appearance.
Lately, someone had been speaking incessantly inside Ruan Mingrui's mind. When he entered the space within his mind, he found a canine creature that looked remarkably like him, sitting upright in the darkness at its center.
