[Western Fantasy] [Slow Burn] [Slice of Life] [Ensemble Cast] [Light Fantasy Narrative] [Subtle Yuri]
The utterly ordinary Evrea Lin An is a witch with no true name.
She doesn't seem to have the power to destroy the world.
She can do a bit of everything, but most of her skills amount to "knowing a little."
Sometimes she wonders: does she even count as a witch?
They can all sense her. Doesn't that count?
She has a house, a magical home that can change its location.
It might be a little cottage glowing warmly in a misty forest, a tower that has appeared atop a tall castle without anyone knowing when, or a new potion shop in town that no one remembers seeing before.
As long as she decides to leave, the house will follow her.
Ever since she came to this world, she has lived in that house.
It's the only home she has.
Sometimes she thinks that perhaps this is for the best.
Her true name can be guessed by whoever cares to try.
Still, she's genuinely curious about the connection between herself and the house.
Perhaps the answer will come to her on her travels?
Sometimes she wonders if this universe is a dream.
Sometimes she thinks she ought to seek out the old witch who raised her.
Sometimes she wonders whether the world would change if she were stronger.
Sometimes she wonders where today's chopping board has gone. It was just on the stove a moment ago.
...And so the Witch of Lost Things sets off on another search for something she's misplaced.
