An Old Woman Becomes a Theme Park NPC and Raises Her Family Through Famine

When the bailiffs searched away the last sack of grain in Zhang Guizhi's home, her family went up the mountain to gather wild vegetables so they wouldn't starve to death.

She found a card and ended up in a place called an amusement park.

Everything here was new to her.

She played a beggar, cleaned, picked up trash, and acted. Wherever she was needed, she went.

They gave her food and paid her, too.

She used the money to support her family.

Famine struck the village, and war raged everywhere.

On her way back to the village, she rescued a man, only to run into him later at the amusement park, shirtless and taking part in a parade.

The land fell into chaos.

Zhang Guizhi led the villagers into a bandits' den hidden deep in the mountains. She had expected most of them to starve, but to her surprise, they ended up living quite well.

Zhang Guizhi thought that once peace returned, she would go out, start a small business, and live a good life.

But the chief of the mountain bandits seemed to have other ideas.

Zhang Guizhi never expected that the bandit chief who had accepted her as his godmother would be planning to pull off one really big job...
