[Battle rules have no four-move limit, making team tactics more complex and varied.]
After transmigrating to the Pokemon world ten years ago, Lu Chen is forced to take over an empty gym.
People laugh at him: “Veilstone Gym? Never heard of it.”
Ten years later
In Sinnoh, dragons keep their heads down, and tigers lie low.
No one dares to cross Veilstone.
Team Rocket: “Veilstone City is off-limits. Stay away.”
Years later, after Ash becomes Alola Champion, he tells the cameras: “I won the championship today, but if I could choose one opponent for another battle, I’d still pick the one from Veilstone City!”
With six powerful mainstays, including Garchomp, Lu Chen turns a gym on the verge of bankruptcy into the strongest gym in Sinnoh history.
At the entrance to the League tournament:
Staff member: “Sorry, one badge isn’t enough to enter… Wait, a Veilstone Badge?! Please come in! You’ll receive a VIP suite, a 40% discount on purchases, and a range of other premium perks!”
The onlookers all gasp, ushering in a new era of global warming for the Pokemon world.
The combat writing is okay, but the author doesn't even know the basic common sense of fire type to restrain rock type, and lacks the most basic knowledge of Pokémon. Ahem, it's because I don't have common sense. The battles are very graphic and the daily writing is very emotional. Especially the two sentences at the end of Chapter 5 made me feel that way. It's just not enough. Can there be more?
