Lin Xie: The Fragrance Remains

“Love is patient, love is kind.”, 1 Corinthians 13

Those words could have been written for Xie Xie. Ten thousand years of waiting, giving unconditionally without expecting anything in return. He never complained or asked for anything, and even at the end of his life, he was still saying, “We’re even now.” The only part that doesn’t fit is what the verse leaves unsaid: some people’s love is silent. You don’t realize it was everywhere until it’s gone.
