I Told You to Cultivate the Ruthless Path, Have You Gone Mad?

A seemingly aloof, vengeful immortal Venerable x a seemingly gentle, possessive Demon Venerable

Cangshu, an Immortal Venerable who cultivates the Path of Ruthlessness, recently took in a furnace cauldron.

The furnace cauldron is as beautiful as an immortal, with a gentle, jade-like temperament. He follows the Immortal Venerable around all day, calling him “Senior Brother,” and anyone who didn’t know better would think he was a young master from some immortal sect family.

The immortal sects sneer. “Hah, a furnace cauldron for someone who cultivates the Path of Ruthlessness? Just wait. Sooner or later, the Immortal Venerable will kill his wife to prove his Dao!”

Then, at the gathering of the immortal sects, everyone watches as that gentle young man pummels the favored prodigies of the great sects with his bare hands, earning himself the title of the top disciple among the immortal sects.

The immortals stare in disbelief. “That’s a furnace cauldron? What family does this ancestor belong to? Someone make him stop!”

But that’s only the beginning.

The young man’s identity is revealed, and he turns out to be the long-missing Supreme Demon, feared by every living being in the realm!

The immortals surround Cangshu and demand that he hand over the Demon Venerable.

Before they can finish speaking, the Immortal Venerable stands with his sword raised, shielding the young man behind him. “He’s mine. You can’t touch him.”

The immortals are stunned. “You were supposed to cultivate the Path of Ruthlessness. Have you gone mad?”

The young man, or rather, the Demon Venerable, curls his lips into a teasing smile and brazenly hooks an arm around the Immortal Venerable’s neck. With the immortals watching, he kisses those cool lips.

The Demon Venerable chuckles, possessiveness surging in his eyes. “At this point, do you still expect me to be your nameless, unacknowledged furnace cauldron?”

Later, someone asks the Immortal Venerable, “Did you know he was the Demon Venerable all along?”

The Immortal Venerable pauses as he pours tea and slowly looks away. “Not from the very beginning… I only found out when I saw him in the bamboo cottage.”

Everyone says, “Isn’t that basically from the very beginning?”

The Immortal Venerable smiles without answering.
