Wild Summer [Also Known As: Cicadas Fall Silent in Midsummer]

[A tough-talking, soft-hearted school bully and hopeless student × a gentle, impeccably composed top student]

Two male leads | Mutual healing | Second chance at love | Reunion after years apart | Sweetness and angst | Devoted to each other

When they were sixteen, Lu Zhichan knocked on Shen Zhixia's door.

The top student tutoring the student ranked last in their grade seemed absurd to the whole school.

Shen Zhixia had shut the door on him and sent him away, but Lu Zhichan never left, not even once.

Later, Shen Zhixia began taking his studies seriously and letting go of his pride, all because Lu Zhichan had once said, “Let's get into the same university.”

A month before the college entrance exams, Lu Zhichan disappeared. No reason, no goodbye, not a single word left behind.

Shen Zhixia hated him for six years, telling everyone, “If he ever comes back, I'll make him regret it.”

But every June, when he heard the first cicada call, he still found himself looking toward the door.

On the day they reunited, Shen Zhixia thought he would make Lu Zhichan regret it.

But when he saw Lu Zhichan's back, what slipped from his lips was:

“...Did I do something wrong?”

Lu Zhichan turned around. “I'm sorry.”

The cicadas fall silent in June; love begins with their reunion.
