[Japanese-Style Western Fantasy] [Fake Nobody] [Dark Humor]
“Mr. Lols, are you satisfied with your reincarnation in another world?”
“...Give me a world with fewer death flags!”
After falling asleep, Lols reincarnates in the RPG he used to play obsessively in his previous life: The Ballads of Norlen.
As a nobody and a background character with no special talents, he has no intention of stealing the spotlight from the hero. All Lols wants is to take his adopted sister, Violet, somewhere safe from the main plot and watch the hero’s party save the world.
As luck would have it, Lols somehow acquires the mysterious [Calling]: [Agent of the Will of Fate], which lets him learn about the future in various ways.
The future awaiting Lols holds nothing but death, the end of the story, and Game Over.
Death flags keep popping up, the empire is always on the verge of collapse, and the world could be destroyed at any moment... Where’s the hero we were promised? Get over here and save the day, you useless protagonist!
The nameless nobody who hasn’t even appeared in the illustrations is once again forced to save the world alongside his adopted sister.
The writing is good, the battle plot is good with a Western fantasy theme, and Baba Boichi, a time traveler from all sides, is also interesting, but the daily routine is a bit lacking.
The love line is a bit weird
Very bad, the female character is backwards, and the modern firearms are inexplicable. It is qualified as a Japanese light novel, but here in Tomato, it is a bunch of otaku fantasy.
