After an amusement park accident, Wen Nianhe, the chosen one of Blue Star, was separated from her body. To her astonishment, the Heavenly Dao of the Primordial World pulled her into the ancient realm.
When she awoke, she had become an innate spirit plant, rooted in Kunlun. Thanks to a fortunate encounter, she became a disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun and the youngest junior sister of the Chan Sect.
The aloof sage kept to the rules of the mystic sect and had devoted himself entirely to the Dao, caring nothing for mortal love. But as they spent their days together, his clever, perceptive young disciple gradually found her way into his heart, and his steadfast sage's heart began to soften.
Blessed with Blue Star's fortune and exceptional insight, she remembered the rhythms of the Dao and comprehended its mysteries. The Twelve Golden Immortals grew close to her, and she found friends and companions in the Three Xiao Sisters, Duobao, and many others.
But turmoil never ceased in the Primordial World. Cataclysmic tribulations stirred in the shadows, and secrets surrounded her past identity in the Yuanhuang Divine Realm. Thunderbolts struck without warning, and one farce after another unfolded in Kunlun.
The aloof sage fell in love. The master and disciple cast aside their titles and became Dao companions for three lifetimes.
See how a modern young woman makes her place in the Primordial World, resolves the conflicts between the Three Sects, stays by the sage's side, and rewrites the fate that had once been set for the Primordial World. [Some anime characters may appear]
