At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the world was in turmoil and war swept across the world. Liu Bei, a descendant of the Han Dynasty who was born in a commoner family and made a living by weaving mats and selling shoes, had great ambitions to help the Han Dynasty. Taoyuan became sworn friends with Guan and Zhang. He wandered for most of his life and fought many defeats. From crusade against Dong Zhuo, bloody battles with heroes, to recruitment of outstanding talents such as Zhao Yun and Zhuge Liang, he joined forces with Eastern Wu to defeat Cao's army in Chibi, and marched westward to Bashu to lay the foundation for the Shu Han Dynasty.
