Lin Miao, a modern medical PhD, transmigrates to 1983 and becomes a woman who shares her name but has a terrible reputation.
The original Lin Miao was vicious and used every means at her disposal to force Lu Zhe, a promising young officer, to marry her. After the wedding, she racked up a debt of twenty thousand yuan. Lu Zhe paid it off for her, but gave up on the marriage entirely.
After transmigrating, Lin Miao's personality changes completely. With her exceptional medical skills, she saves lives in the military housing compound and gradually earns everyone's respect.
But her only wish is to save up twenty thousand yuan, repay Lu Zhe for his kindness, and leave with her dignity intact.
Yet the man who once treated her like dirt gradually falls for her as they spend their days together. He refuses to let her go…
Xie Xiaolan, a female soldier who has a crush on Lu Zhe, repeatedly frames Lin Miao, and trouble never lets up.
After a life-or-death trial, their hearts finally find each other amid blood and fire.
