And so Hoshikawa's legendary investigator and stress-resistant queen, Kiritani Natsumori, wandered into this gravitational field and had her whole life ruined.
Meanwhile, Tono Chifuyu spotted the people who had promised to come, sitting in the audience. Himari and Maya were both there, smiling as they leaned back in their seats.
The five members of the new band stood onstage. The crisscrossing lights cast their shadows in different directions, but in the end, the shadows were connected.
Chifuyu looked at them and smiled a little.
It wasn't the future she'd fought so hard to reach. Her sister hadn't come back, and Cicada's Summer Rain hadn't continued. Nothing could return to the way it was.
