The Beautiful CEO and Her Single Male Assistant

“Having to deal with certain people is bad enough. Now you want me to be her assistant, too?”

Shen Chi is recruited back from a law firm by her college classmate Cheng Zhibai to serve as senior assistant to the puppet CEO. Cheng Zhibai’s father died suddenly, leaving behind a business empire worth hundreds of billions. Her second uncle controls the finances, her third uncle holds the reins of personnel, and her aunt has a tight grip on brand publicity. Even her own mother has shown up with her stepfather’s whole family, hoping to claim a piece of the pie.

She doesn’t believe in love, only power. He’s witty and smooth, helping her dismantle the family’s infighting while insisting she eat breakfast every day.

Cheng Zhibai says, “The wise don’t fall in love.”

Shen Chi says, “Fine. Use this workhorse of yours to add some color to your life.”
