Shen Xuanxiao, heir to the Daoist tradition, enters the mortal world at his master’s command to cultivate himself and accumulate merit.
He crosses paths with a beautiful heiress, befriends a sweet and innocent junior sister, and encounters a demonic cult enchantress caught in a web of love and hate.
Along the way, he battles vicious ghosts, slays ferocious demons, tames strange beasts, settles old scores, and guides those destined to cross his path.
