[Forced possession + faking her death and fleeing while pregnant + the husband chases after his wife to win her back]
A deeply devoted, obsessive, cold-hearted second male lead who is infatuated with the heroine VS an innocent, pitiful, beautiful, and stubborn cannon-fodder female supporting character
Shen Litang was born breathtakingly beautiful and gentle-tempered. When her family fell on hard times, she was grateful that her fiancé remained by her side. But then her bridal sedan was switched, and by a twist of fate, she married Xie Yu'an, heir to the Loyal and Valiant Marquis's household!
Xie Yu'an was as handsome as a jade tree, yet cold and aloof, with a heart devoted to his one true love alone.
But his beloved loved someone else, leaving him to marry Shen Litang instead. He believed Shen Litang was the one to blame for everything.
So he took out all his anger on her, abusing her both physically and emotionally. At long last, they finally fell in love, but just as Shen Litang became pregnant, his beloved returned, already expecting a child...
The man mistreats the woman in the first half; she turns the tables on him in the second!
