The fallen princess Wen Yingwei is on the run and close to death when she activates the Sumeru System, awakens an exceptional ice spirit root, and joins the reclusive Taixuan Immortal Sect.
She hopes to lie flat and cultivate, but the sect has only a handful of cultivators and believes in a hands-off approach. When trouble comes, no one steps up to help.
The evil spirits hunting her, rival sects arriving to provoke her, and demons wreaking havoc across the three realms all have to be dealt with by her personally.
Fortunately, the fellow disciples who joined the sect alongside her help shoulder the burden.
And so...
Wen Yingwei, gifted with an exceptional ice spirit root, awakens her System and gains a legacy in the Frost Dao. She favors talismans and can draw a lightning-summoning charm with a single stroke!
Xu Yi, gifted with a fire spirit root, turns out to be a woman who transmigrated. She favors formations and sweeps aside her foes with a Blazing Sun Fire Whip!
Luo Jibai, gifted with a lightning spirit root, wields the Zixiao Thunder Sword. Born with a sword body, he breaks all techniques with thunder!
